I was introduced to wrestling when I was 5 years old. My godfather, my father and my uncle always watched Wrestlemania,
Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and King of the Ring. When I first started watching it, Hogan and Piper were the main guys.
Every other wrestler usually fed off of their feud. There were humongous stars and little stars. There was Bret Hart, Big
John Studd, Jimmy Superfly Snuka, Captain Lou Albano, and of course Andre the Giant. Wrestling finally got into my
blood when I was 7, I met Big John Studd. I had never seen a man that tall, being a kid I didn’t think there was anyone
bigger than my dad. Well, I remember being lifted into this big man’s lap, he was so big I thought he would squish me,
but he was such a gentle giant. I was hooked, Big John Studd was my first favorite wrestler. I watched wrestling
religiously for years, yet I had never gone to a live show, until 1998 when WWE came to Albany, NY, I still have the ticket
from that show. I remember seeing Jeff Jarrett riding a horse to the ring, Stone Cold was the biggest thing there. DX was
rolling at the time and X-Pac made a re-debut to the WWE from the WCW. I saw Owen Hart (who at the time was on my top
10 list of fave wrestlers.) and Kane, Chyna (who was huge for a woman.) and Shane O’Mac, my favorite of
the McMahon’s other than Stephanie. I also met Scott Steiner around that time, at the Grand Opening of our
Wal-Mart. He got really pissed at one woman who acted as if she didn’t see his table and rammed her shopping cart right
into it. The glare he gave that woman, wow. If looks could kill…. I laughed though. One thing about Steiner though,
he has very soft hands and small feet! Weird observations I’m sure but I think its kinda odd for a huge wrestler like
him to have such small features. Where is he now by the way???? Hmm, I guess that’s something for me to research and
find out for you fans. Anyway, I have always had a love for writing (as if by now you cant tell) and for wrestling,
so I threw the two together and started writing wrestling articles based on the fan’s point of view. Not the casual,
flipping channels cuz nothing else is on type of fans, but the obsessed with knowing everything to know about wrestling from
when their favorite wrestler debuted to their email addresses, etc. That is where I come in. I will do all the research
I can do and list it all for you on this site. Along with news and my own personal articles (some of which have been posted
on BGWwrestling.com) and any shows I might go to and get pictures of some of the Superstars. Ok, last but not least. MY favorite
current wrestlers are as follows: Kevin Nash Shawn Michaels Mick Foley Raven (I had a
cat named after him) Owen Hart (I cried for a week straight when he passed) Bobby Heenan (Ok, not a real
good wrestler, but an awesome color commentator.) Sting (wooooo) UNDERTAKER (nuff said!) Lita (in
my opinion the Angelina Jolie of Pro Wrestling) Chris Jericho
Anyone who wants to list their top 10, post it on my forum. Thanks for checking out the site, I’m not on as often
as I would like to be, but I will be on at least once a week to update news and add weekly article. Enjoy and please don’t
try wrestling moves at home. You can get really hurt, leave it to the pros or go to school for it. I WILL NOT
post anything from ANY backyard wrestling organizations. I’ve seen too many people get hurt doing that so I am totally
against it. Sorry to anyone I offended by that but those are my feelings. Thank you again for checking out my site, tell your
friends and check back often!
